For some reasons my laptop decided that instead of putting itself to sleep when the battery is low, it suddenly shuts down and I have to restart it- and most of the time I have unsaved shit disappearing from existence because of this.
The thing is, when I draw, I'm so focused that I end up forgetting about saving my progress and I already lost like 20+ pieces because of this.
My current power supply has a little defect that I couldn't test out before buying so if I move a bit the cable just goes off the battery. And most of the time, I don't see it. GREAT

Aug. 2nd, 2019 08:40 pmI really don't like watching TV, mostly because of most shows being shit and constant ad rolls-- also, it makes my head hurts for some reasons. But, I kinda like the calm, soothing documentary and cultural channels targeted to seniors.
Problem is, the ads. They're not long or annoying, it's just... About inheritance and things like that. How you will die on day and that you have to think about who you're gonna give what you own to.
It always reminds me of my recently deceased dad, because we used to have a lot of talk related to inheritance since he was very sick due to cancer.
I'm still grieving and my mom too- when we saw the ad the first time she even teared up. I felt like this was a really awkward and ironic situation.
We switched to Netflix full-time to avoid triggers like this in the future.

- Pokemon merch (old games, outfits, old school plushies, mangas, posters, TCG, fig board game, MCDonald toys)
- Music CDs (currently have 143, mostly old stuff and italian indie)
- Dead, dry insects (moths and butterflies. I have one that is 11 years old)
- Boxes and user manuals of every devices I owned
- Xenox toys
- Rare Vocaloid merch (figs, CDs, I also have that one portable miku voice thing)
- Old video games (mostly PS1)
- Anime Blu-Rays
- Sea shells and rocks from foreign countries
- Dead scorpions
- Old game manuals and ads
- Old animation paper
- Bootleg merch
Organizing images

I like hoarding whatever shit I find on the internet and gather huge collections of pictures- like art, memes or rare old-school animecore. Problem is, when I want to find one of said pictures in the sea of thousand, it usually take years.
Organizing everything in folders doesn't really help in my case either. Like, character image collections for example:
Let's say you have a folder for Character A, another for B, and another for C.
Then, you find a picture where A, B and C are all there. What do you do? Do you clone the picture to put them in every folder? Wouldn't that unnecessarily bloat your storage,thus be really stupid?
Okay, let's tag it then: But when you have a thousand of crap to tag with the current system Windows uses, it becomes a pain in the ass and unbearably slow and tedious to do- So I never really used it, I don't have the patience for it. Fuck Windows Explorer.
I really like the concept and tagging systems of boorus, it's easy to use and quick. The dream of having a true local booru is salivating.
I currently use the Hydrus client for hosting my pictures and tagging them. It really has all I need and I can even create new tagging and rating systems (I have a SFW-NSFW-Questionable rating for example, like in actual boorus, and a fave rating for the bests) which is really useful.
I figured out you could drag and drop images from the client itself to to other applications or the internet, which helps since I host image-sharing servers. The only problem is that you need to be kind of tech-savy to use it and most people from said servers really aren't so it's hard to explain things sometimes.
